1995: mon disquaire me fait écouter le 2ème album d'un groupe anglais: Oasis.
(que je ne connaissais pas plus que ça et aujourd'hui je me demande encore comment j'ai fait pour passer à côté de Definetely Maybe...)

Premiers accords acoustique, Wonderwall, et puis l'enchainement directement en electrique, la batterie, la voix le refrain et jusqu'au bout...
Qu'est-ce que ça rendait bien sur ces énormes enceintes!

Voilà comment j'ai vraiment découvert le groupe.

Plus de 13 ans aprés (et ouais, merde...),
je l'aime toujours autant!

Ca a été mon gros coup de coeur sur Morning Glory. Quand on m'a dit que ce disque était plus "pop" que Definitely Maybe je ne m'attendais pas à une intro rock comme ça ! De toutes façons, dès que Noel pose le pied sur une wha : c'est grand.

L'album démarre très fort ! A noter que la chanson commence avec les premiers accords de Wonderwall... interrompus par la guitare électrique ! Ca fait penser à Acquiesce, qui débute par le refrain de ce qui allait devenir Morning Glory !

Oh nom de nom, c'est une chanson comme on aimerait en entendre plus souvent ! Elle a ce petit truc, cette petite flamme qui me fait vibrer.
La musique colle exceptionnellement bien aux paroles, à ce qu'elles veulent faire ressentir, à la voix de Liam (toujours aussi extraordinaire, sacré lui).
Une chanson que j'écoute souvent, avec grand plaisir !

Une chanson qui mériterait d'etre jouée plus souvent en live, avec des paroles rapides enchainées a un bridge et un refrain très sympas. Ecoutez la version de Knebworth, elle cartonne !
